Honeysuckle is a climber with ovate dark green leaves. It flowers in summer and gets its name from the tubular flowers that are filled with nectar, this flower can be picked and the nectar sucked out. The flowers also have a sweet fragrance similar to gardenia and jasmine. The flowers are also adored by sunbirds and butterflies.
