Common uses:

The leaves is used as a main ingredient in spirit absinthe. Main medicinal properties include aiding in under-active digestion, stimulating bile and digestive secretions and also for convalesces after prolonged illnesses. A tea made from new leaves is antispasmodic, stimulant and acts as a tonic. WARNING: Wormwood should only be used in small quantities for brief periods of time, under the supervision of a reputable herbalist.

Growing:

Wormwood has fine grey green fern-like leaves. It prefers a sunny position with moist sandy to loam soil. Cuttings will root fairly easy if kept moist and fairly shaded until new roots have developed.
